Exploring Anjali Ashram
On their tour through Mysore, Southern India, Darrol Bryant’s group of travellers stop in at Anjali Ashram for a visit. They learn about the Christian Ashram Movement in India and meet Father Louis, who explains the ashram’s philosophy of integration with God, the self, one another and nature. Father Louis invites them to enjoy the grounds and spend time in meditation and personal reflection. Darrol talks about his own interest in “other” and stresses that only when we’re able to put aside our fears and anxieties, can be we open to experience “other” – other religions, other cultures or other human beings.
